2012: Audition #9

Auditioning for a major network TV show is fun. Today was the 6th time I traveled to Cast Iron Studios over the past two years. The first few times were rather nerve-wracking, but now, having gone through the motions a few times, it is much less stressful.

Like anything, the more you practice, the easier or more natural it becomes. Some people say, Practice Makes Perfect. I also like, Practice Makes Permanent – which suggests that if you are practicing “wrong,” it may never get better! Which will lead me to my next post on auditioning…

This nicest thing about this audition was riding down and back with a new friend and fellow actor (we were reading for different parts), seeing other friends in the offices, and making a new connection with another Seattle filmmaker and actor.
